Monsoon Radio CD 98 Firebird + Changer

I have a 98 Firebird (Monsoon System) with the steering wheel controls etc. I want to fit a GM CD-changer in the trunk using the existing wiring, will it just hook up and work?? One replacement radio site on Ebay is saying that you need a "Special" Monsoon radio to work the changer. www.replacementradios.com. is this just BS to try and charge more??

My car had the wiring all ready back there. All I had to do was plug in the changer and it worked.

Dude okay I have a 98 also and its prewired also. Here is the deal however. Its not for our HU its like the 2000+ HU or even the 99 i think. It needs to have that AUX key on it or else there is no way to switch it over to the cd changer. I know its the height of gayness they did this to us, but better to hear it now then spend money later.
