My dad got a remote starter for his truck a few years ago, and he never used it so he said I could have it. Most of my friends have told me it is a hard install if you don't know what you are doing, anyone have experience with them? I had one on my old Grand Am, and realllllly liked it for the cold of Nebraska. So any tips or points in the right direction, would help. Thanks in advance. :D

Re: Remote Starter
I say you go for it. Its not that bad, i did it on my old car. It took about 5 hours. Its not really hard, just time consuming. You have to go into your ignition harness and find a bunch of specific wires that are on and off with the car and stuff. Just make sure you have a voltmeter and you'll be fine.
