I have just recently bought new neon lights for my 98 firebird. the neons need a 12 volt source so i was wondering if any one knew if the fog lights are running at 12 volts. because i want to tap into them so that way i can just turn on my neons when i turn on my fog lights.. thanks.
jake
Run them both to a switch and have it ran to your remote wire. When you flip the switch, your fog light and neon's will come on together.
I haven't messed with neons in years......... but I always ran them to the remote wire on my amp......and if you don't have an amp........run it to the remote wire in the back of your cd player. :) And make sure you run the ground to a good, clean source.
cool thanks for the input guys. so if i hook up the wires of the 12 volt neons to the wires of the fog light and flip the fog light switch it will turn the neons on.?
