anyone have subs in place of back seat?

well i have my box in the hatch right now and i got to thinking at school today that had nothing to do with school...:) so i thought to myself well i NEVER really use my back seat for anything so i was wondering if anybody took their back seat completely out and made a neat little sub box that holds 2 12 inch subs, post some pics id love to do this some day

i dont know.. but they make rear seat deletes... like a nice box not made for subs, but for made to put in place of the rear seats... but maybe you could have one back seat and put 2 12"s and a amp in the place of one of the seats.. molded and carpeed to match, that could look snazzy

Someone on here has (or used to have) an all Sony Xplod setup with subs in-place of the rear seats. Think there was a NO2 bottle and a PS2 back there as well. 1DangerousV6? Either way, I advise against it. As with every sub in every vehicle, you want the sub as far to the rear as possible. See for yourself. Throw one 10" in the stealth box and listen. Then put the same 10" in a similar sized sealed box and place it in your rear seats. I speak from experience, but feel free to give it a try if you like....

i had two 12s in a box behind my seats, i bought the subs and the box for a competition, then three months later i sold them and i bought a pioneer premier sub(just one) and put it in the trunk, and it beats 3x louder than those two did. the box i had was beautiful and i loved it, but i've got much better sound now and alot more room on the inside of my car now. you'll like the way it looks for a little while but then your gonna hate it cause you have no room at all.

he took them out for racing purposes. He didn't want the weight in the car anymore

i made my own rear seat delete and i have it so that i can have storage inside of it. i keep my amp and nitrous in there

what a box like this i could have done 2 12's if i didn't have my nitrous. but i just wanted a little bump, and also i wanted to make sure that i had EVERYTHING done to my car

i saw one time at a car show it was a 3rd gen vert and the back seat had a custom "bench look" box with 3 12" woofers. thing was sweet
