With terrible lighting, that's a vid i just took real quick. I'll get a better one when i have the third brake light done too, maybe tomorrow.

48 LEDs at 6000mcds is in fact brighter at all angles than the old incandescents, compared head to head.

Those also have built-in resistors, so my flash rates are not affected at all.

        Pretty much everything I said...

Lookin' good man... did your cruise control give you any grief without installing the larger resistors...?

Yes I know you said all of it, I was restating and agreeing with what you've said because some other people in this thread didn't believe this was going to work at all--screwed up flash rates, much duller than stock, etc..

Thanks for all the help Kev.

I haven't tried my cruise control yet since I installed the tails, but considering I've used my cruise control all of once in the 7 months I've owned the car, and even then just to see if it works, I don't think it's a big deal if it no longer works.

Ah... I see... I do a ton of highway driving... and either by coincidence or due to the LEDs... my cruise doesn't work... I'm gonna get it checked out this week... some cars disable the cruise as a friendly reminder of a bulb out... then again it could just be a loose wire... enjoy the LED's... you should be able to install them in the front since you don't have DRL's... if you do.. make sure you get some that have a viewing angle of 180*... since the blinkers mount perpendicular to the road... otherwise they won't be very bright at all...

I think i've seen some that are made for that kind of thing, they are LEDs mounted at a 90* angle from the actual socket so that it would work for my corners. I'm not sure i will do the corners though because i already spent $20 on silverstars that have a blue tint when they are off and it looks quite nice.
