Anyone have tips on boosting radio reception? Seems like everyone else's cars I get into get all the local stations in crystal clear and in the 'bird you'd think some of the stations are being transmitted from the moon.

Re: Radio Reception
Are you using an aftermarket head unit? They do sell linear amplifiers that plug into the back of your radio from your antenna and are supposed to make the reception a bit better. Check the connection in the back of the radio\'97 Camaro M5 Y87 3.23 LSD, homebrew CAI, highfloCat, Flowmaster catback, Pacesetter headers, specstage3 clutch and aluminum flywheel, !egr, 2kW system.

Possible L67 bottom end w/ abbott heads and a turbo in the works... gotta do more homework

Re: Radio Reception
Larger antenna maybe...?
I don't know if any companies out there make a booster for an antenna, but if they do, it would be something I'd probably invest in. Radio stations here in Philly BLOW! 90% of them are either pop or rap. Most of the classic rock stations are obsolete anymore.
I'm not sure here, but don't car radios have some sort of reception rating? Like, do some radio's have a stronger radio signal than others?sigpic
