Max Front Door Speaker Size

I searched on the form, but could not find the max speaker size for the front door speaker. But only the stock 6 3/4 " information. If it matters the car in question is a '95 Firebird coupe.

between 6.5" and 7" and ull be good theres a mod to fit a bigger speaker in the sail panels but stock its 6.5

6 3/4" is about the largest you can go in the front doors without SERIOUS modifications. The window when rolled down has very little clearance with the magnet on the speaker. Even some 6 3/4" may have issues.

I have a set of new 6 1/2 so yeah.

I put a set of 6.5's in my doors without any problems.
