Hey guys i have a 98 camaro and i decided to buy some infinity speakers for the back seats because my old ones werent working right. Well i put the new ones in and they only play bass no sound otherwise. Ive switched wires neg and pos and nothing but bass i could use some help on why. Thankyou

The rear ones are supposed to be the bass drivers. I think there should be more coming out of them though, but i dunno~97 3.8L V6 Camaro~

There is a fix for this:
Disconnect the small mexican spks in the very rear. Put yellow
tape on the + and - wires and then take a wire hanger and straight it out. Tape the speaker wires to the end of the hanger....U may need to add spkr wire. Remove new spks
by seats...thread that wire hanger from the hole in the rear
to the place where U took out the new speakers....swap
speaker wires. Connect those that connect the back ones to
the new spks by the door. Do this on the other side. Forget
the mexican spks. Now the full range of sound 40-15,000hz
will go to the new speakers.PhilComment

OMG I JUST READ THIS
The factory dual voice coil subwoofer in this location receives only bass frequencies from the amplifier. If replaced with an aftermarket speaker, the aftermarket speaker will only reproduce bass.
To get full-range sound from aftermarket speakers, you'll have to cut and splice some wires in order to bypass the factory amplifierComment
