  • Xenon fog replacenment=engine overheating

Well i went out and replaced my fog lights with euro dezigns 8500k H.I.D. xenon-krypton bulbs. After the installation i took the car for a test drive and to level the lights out when i noticed my car overheating. Temps were quickly rising to 210 so i pulled over and saw light smoke comming from engine bay so i opened the hood and found that my radiator fan was not running...im pretty sure that i fried the sh** out of the wires and did some pretty good damage to other electrical components but am not 100% sure. Any ideas about what happened ? The lights are D.O.T. approved and say that they will not melt wires.

probably unrelated to your light install and just a coincidence unless you spliced into some wires wrong or something. Check fuses first
