it was the one that came with the car. I went to the junk yard to get the plug in for it. Everything plugged in right so i'm sure the lighter is the right one. What is oem?

ok, I think I figured out what was going on. Since the c/l won't stay down when it is pushed in this means the lighter is worn out. I think since it is worn out this is causing the fuse to overload. Does this sound reasonable?
