What will a MSD do for my camaro performance wise? a buddy of mine told me he got it put in and said its faster now. the cheapest one ive seen is at and advance auto store for $240.

you are talking about MSD dis 4, i ran one, didnt really notice anything...however tests on this site have shown a .2 drop in the 1/4 -

I'm more of a car audio genius than a go fast genius.... but I believe you don't really get the full benefit of the dis4 until you're running some sort of forced induction.(?) Compression, fuel, air and spark make go fast. Bigger better spark is all well and good, but doesn't really shine with the other three.
Also, any MSD product has proven to be hell on audio system noises. (engine whine etc)Comment
