I just hooked up my 10" Alpine type R and I really like it. I haven't pushed it too hard yet...still breaking it in...but from what I have heard so far, it can kick really hard. I got a P2 10" 250 RMS @ 4 ohm DVC
gotta wait for the amp to test it though.. im getting a rockford amp that pushes @
325 Watts RMS x 1 @ 4 ohms
160 Watts RMS x 2 @ 2 ohms
80 Watts RMS x 2 @ 4 ohms
975 watts max power
Guy on another forum said it was a misconception that the gain knob tunes the wattage going to sub? If hes right, what exactly does tune the wattage?Comment
