ok guys, i have on wacked problem. '97 firebird, and the light that lights up the mileage is not there. still reads the mileage and everything, just can barely see it. anybody else have a problem like this, or know how to fix it by chance? if not, oh well... =\

OK, I'll bite.
All I know about this one is that someone just a little while ago had a problem like this. I think he had to remove the instrument cluster, get into it and replace the lights that were soldered to the PC board. you could put white (or whatever color you want) leds facing the gauges from in front? I never took the whole gauge cluster out when i put my white faced gauges in so i wouldn't know if hte bulb is easily replacable.Comment

i saw how to take it apart when i was in there, just didn't.
Start taking stuff apart and you'll eventually get to that point.Comment

yeah thats the way i was with my mom's camaro... and yeah lets just say some pieces didnt go back correctly. oh well, ill do it again... my interior sucks as is, cant make it worse... can i?Comment
