I recently got a shorty antenna off of ebay and it was working just fine but now i'm beginning to get really bad reception. Its weird, when my car is off it sounds good, but when i start the car it sounds bad.. Any idea why ?

sounds like some sort of electrical interference. moving to electronics. -

Check your connections, make sure there are no bare wires present.
Also try putting your stock antenna back on and see if that fixes the problem, that may rule out the antenna itself.*Matt
