Where is there a 12V SWITCHABLE power source under the dash, or some place else inside the car?

You can get 12V from your fuse box, accessory fuse.

you can also splice into your radio's switched or constant power wire and go from there.

If you have a DMM, just check for 12v

Pop the hood, see the big rectangular thing on the passenger's side with a red and black wire going to it? There's your 12V source :P . What exactly are you trying to power? You could do it like they said and tap into your radio's wire (I did that, but kept blowing fuses with my CB for some reason, hence why I'm asking), or you could run a wire to the fuse box and use an accessory fuse from there. Then you can't accidentally leave it on and kill your battery, since it'll only be on while the car's running or when the key's in the "ACC" position.

NOT switchable power, as I asked for.

A relay to kill the ground for my remote fan switch when I shut the car off.

On the IP fuse box (in the dash with the drivers side door open) look for the IGN fuse. Just below that fuse is a connector port that you can use. Use a blade connector to connect to it and run the wire from the blade connector straight to your relay. Now every time you turn the key to RUN, your relay will be powered up and the gound for your remote fan switch will be made.
