Ok long story but hopefully you can help. I built a sub box 26 3/8x13 3/8 by 3/4inch mdf. I bought 2 new Infinity Kappa 12's. I sealed the box up very good. Wired the subs up and everything. I did have 2 10's in my car before. They were cheapo's. These 12's don't hit hardly at all compared to my 10's? I have a California Profile AP 1200 2 channel amp. Hopefully somebody can help me.

Re: No Bass problem
It could be a number of problems. . .
-you could have them wired improperly, probably the best bet.
-type of music you listen to, 10's are much better for rock music, 12's for rap etc...
-box could be way to large for the speakers.
I have had 10" subs that hit harder than 12's*Matt

Re: No Bass problem
subs are very picky you might want to make sure the neg. wire coming from the sub is on the negative side of the hookup on the amp....and the positive on the positive....on my infinity's if they were mixed up they wouldnt hit half as hard for some reason as for it doesnt make a differance on the coaxial speakers...id give that a try..if that fails check the settings on the amp or on the headunit and play around with them till you think they sound right....worked for me lol good luck
