If you're talking about an alternator rewire with a larger diameter wire then yes. It works and is an inexpensive way to increase voltage across the board. It won't make much of a differance if you're not running a system or quite a few gadgets, but it is relatively inexpensive and has been tested to increase voltage.Comment

Alt to Batt 8awg (removed)
Batt to Power post 6awg (keep, now only used to charge battery)
Alt to Power post 4awg (new)

The power post on my car is on the fender behind the battery. It is red. ZZP sells the cable (I hope it's right). I got a "prototype" and had to modify it.
