yeah..i think im gonna go up to autozone when they open in a few hours.haha
it stays at around 10 or 11 volts..but when i gun it or turn on my brights it drops to nearly 9.
im really hoping that its just this humid weather and my alternator will just start working again.lol I have a pretty powerful stereo and some silverstar lights..but nothing a brand new battery and a decent newer alt. cant take..
I really dont have the money to fork over for a new alt. right now.
My car will not stay at full battery.i dont know what the problem is...the alternator is fairly new and the battery is brand spankin new.
i just dont get it.

Yup...Im going to go with the alternator also....mine was fairly new and wasnt charging my battery either...the cause? the bolt on the back of the altenator was slightly loose and therefore it wasnt giving my battery a full charge. I got it tightened and shes a beauty now. Check that first, then get it checked out, if you altenator is fairly new then it should still be under warranty and you would get a new one for free (assuming there is a problem with it)
If you are running at 10-11 volts, your alt. definitely isn't working.
