  • Harness..unable to remove

This is the harness that is used in conjunction with the "Progressive Doorlock Bypass" This is the only harness i am able to see even with the kick panel removed. The rest of the wires go back into the car. How can I pull this harness down out of the black thing it is plugged up in? It literally won't budge. Also I have tried the bypass while having it still plugged up in there.

I cut the grey/black wire leaving about 3 inches of wire still going in the harness and the rest of the grey/black wire that goes back into the car, I just put electrical tape on the end and stuffed it back under the carpet.

So the 3 inches of black wire I had remaining, I spliced into the tan wire by melting a section of the tan wire, exposing the copper, and then i wrapped the grey/black wire's exposed copper into the tan wire's exposed copper.

All this did was blow my 20A fuse constantly What am I doing wrong?
