I have a 95 camaro. No mods.
The passenger window motor is acting up. When the door is open the window rolls up and down with ease. Once you shut the door the window can not roll down more than an inch and a half without losing all its power. I have to help it down with my hand to get it to roll down.
What is my problem here and how do I go about fixing this?
are any wires getting pinched when you close the door? maybe take the rods off the track and greese them up really good. see where that gets you. but anything you do, it will just be easier to replace the stuff
Sounds like the motor is getting tired, with the door open it doesnt have to force the window up/down with any resistance, but with it shut, it fights the weatherstripping and whatnot.
