I bought mine for 200 from discount man.. unfortunatly the price for these is absolutely ridiculous.
Now i crashed my firebird, the light motor works great. i wont guaruntee you anything, but ill see if i can pull mine from my firebird, ill sell it to you for 50bux+shipping if i can.
i should have the car back by at least wednesday
if interested, give me your email address, ill keep you posted via email.
Did you try raising your head lamp manually? The motor has that plastic cap on top where you can remove it and twist it manually. After that, it should just go up and down. *Make sure you do not force it though! It is intended to go one direction, making it go the other way will make the motor slip everytime the lights go down.*
-If you already knew this, its something for newbs to find out when searching.
And on to another part, simmilar topic...
Everytime I turn my headlamps off it makes an awful BUZZZ sound from the motor spinning freely from someone twisting it the wrong way. Anyway to fix? Or just replace?
bad *** bro, thanks a lot! found it in the sticky in this, tech, section as the last how-to in the post :) I will be fixing. Thanks again! I had tried searching, but cant always find things i suppose.
thanks for the advice.took the lamp assy out this weekend, not as tough as i thought, but the next time a window motor goes out i'm taking it to the dealer!

they r not unreliable , they just don't care about anyone..lol if u wanna buy something they'll be like ok and then get it for u. But if someone that does not live in fl and wants to order something I don't know how service would be since I live in fl and go over there myself..
