i went in my car today to start it up and there was absolutely no power... no lights, no start, no radio, nothing. i had just driven it earlier when i went to school. i just put in a new battery a couple of months ago so i was thinking maybe a fuse? i'm frustrated to say the least.

got a volt meter ? put it on the batt. sounds like either a loose cable or dead battery. try jumper cables1997 Camaro LS1 RS

Easiest thing to do is first check your battery voltage with a DMM (digital multi-meter)
If you have no voltage, charge / jump start the car and once running, take it to auto zone or a parts store, have them test your battery and alternator.*Matt

Check the batter... see if there is any spark when you mess with the cables. Also... I got a bad battery one day. It worked fine and then after sitting all night, the battery was completely dead.Welcome future UK stars... Darius Miller, Deandre Liggins, Kevin Galloway, Josh Harrellson

yea you guys are right. put a multimeter to the nuts that screw into the battery and it read 5v. i took them off and read direct to the battery and it read 12vComment

Clean up the battery terminals good. then tighten them securly and read voltage then.*Matt

cleaned up terminals and connectors with some battery cleaner and then put some dielectric grease in there and it's all good now... thanks guysComment
