So my left brake light and turn signals dont work.. but when i move the little signal lever down, nothing happens the little green arrow light doesnt even come on. Does this sound like just a minor bulb issue? or something more?

Re: left signal doesnt work?
Does the right turn signal work?
My first guess is that the lever might be wearing out the contacts in the handle itself, but that wouldn't explain the break lights not working.
I went through three turn signal handles on my Grand Prix. The contacts would wear down and then the metal shavings would actually short out and start to smoke at times. Of course it had over 215,000 miles on it when I decided to sell it.2000 White Firebird
K&N Filter, Aluminum Driveshaft

95 White Firebird - Laid to Rest
K&N FIPK, Flowmaster Exhaust, Jet Chip

Re: left signal doesnt work?
yes, the right signal does work... well i agree.. i think it might possibly be the turn signal handle, and by odd chance the brake light is out as well... ill replace both bulbs of course and hope for the best.. otherwise I will be w/o a left turn signal..Last edited by Blip55; 11-02-2007, 09:11 PM.WE CAN REBUILD IT, WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY

Re: left signal doesnt work?
The relay is the piece that clicks. You should have one relay to control both turn signals and a seperate one for the hazard.
What happened when you tried using the hazard lights?
Before you start getting into replacing relays and stuff though, I would pull out the tail lights and make sure that the bulbs are tight and dry. They will be the cheapest and easiest to start replacing.2000 White Firebird
K&N Filter, Aluminum Driveshaft

95 White Firebird - Laid to Rest
K&N FIPK, Flowmaster Exhaust, Jet Chip
