Okay I have a question.I was going to buy an alarm tomorrow for 160 but my bro told me there's no point in spending that much money on an alarm when he has an extra remote that he had when he purchased his alarm..He said id be better off because then I can get my dash fixed and I can get t-top shades because my car gets really hot in specially in florida .My bro told me that I could take it to the pontiac dealer and they can program it for me. Any idea of the price range. I'm a little bit confused, Would I have keyless entry and what are the disadvantages of the factory alarm.. Oh yeah I have a 1996 firebird! Thanks guys.

well, the firebird had a factory alarm previously installed... but wen they took it out, it was all burnt up and ****.. you might be able to :P who knows.
