speed sensor maybe?

I have a 97 camaro. naturally.

the speedo doesnt work, so I figured,I would get another cluster. so I slap the other cluster in from the same year, and yet again, my speedo and temp doesnt work. ( temp gauge didnt work on other cluster either)

so.... whats wrong? speed sensor? temp sensor?

Also, I had rolling odometer on old cluster and digital on new cluster.

No odomoter reading, what will i need to do. because its just weird, my old 97 had digital readout, and this one has rolling odometer????
