      Re: HID's

HID's come in yesterday. I was pretty impressed with how the kit was put together. Everything fit nicely and took all of 10 minutes to install. Light output is awsome, and i love the color. i took some pics and will try to get them up later today.

again these are the 10k 9006's. i absoultley love them. prolly gonna purchase a hight beam kit.
also i still need to adjust them a little to get the lighting perfect, so dont judge that to much.

yes, just as long as you do a sealed beam conversion. There are at least 2 guys i know of on here with an HID kit in the stock 93-97 camaro headlights..

So, where did u get them from? solaraguy? they look good. Now, start looking for projectors on ebay. My friend just did a retrofit with Audi projectors. It turned out VERY nice!

It's just a little bit more involved than changing a headlight bulb in the average car.

They're illegal if they are not in projector housings. It's a safety issue with blinding people because non-projector housings do not have a cut-off line. However, it depends on your local PD if they actually enforce this.

Yes, I know \"Artic\" should be spelled \"Arctic\". Can any of the mods change this?

oh cool. Well since I have a new car now (not solara) and I didn't want to put anything cheap in it. So, I am getting a 6000K kit from retro-solutions.com. I have seen the 5000K in person and it looks amazing. The car I am putting it in, it already has projectors so it should look pretty decent. I'll post pic of it.
