  • 3 gauge A-pillar install, help

I just picked up a a pilar gauge cluster to get the ball rolling on my nitrous install... has anyone installed autometer trans temp, A/F, or fuel pressure gauges before? any help/advice is greatly welcomed

just take your time and get the wiring right.

if this is for nitrous...then where is your nitrous gauge?

They are really easy to hook up. I dont have time to explain it right now, but when I get home from work I'll post some info. PM me if I forget.

BTW, is the A/F gauge a wideband?

Assuming you have all electric gauges this is easy.

For a 12V power source...look behind the fuse panel on the drivers side, there are 2 unused fuses: accessory and battery. Put a male quick connect on one power wire from the gauge and plug it in to either one of them. I used both for my gauges.

For a ground, just piggy back onto the black wire on the headlight switch.

As far as the senders are concerned...

            For the nitrous sender:

Put it inline with the bottle and the solenoids using a gauge adapter.

            For the fuel sender:

Cut the fuel line and put in a T fitting.

            Or....

If you have a wet nitrous kit, using another gauge adapter, just put the sender inline with the fuel solenoid right before the FPSS.

im running a dry shot, what size t fitting should i get, and what is that attached to the t-fitting? im assuming its a fuel pressure sensor, but i want to be sure before i go cutting my fuel line... and if it is a FPS, then where can i get one that will work with my setup?

thats all my questions... for now

Im not sure on the size of the T fitting. Look up the size of your fuel lines in a Haynes or Chilton manual.

Then pressure sender/harness comes with the gauge (it should anyhow).
