I will. Now I just need to know where it plugs in.

It's the same place as every other 4th gen, there's one part that fits 93-02 V6 and V8.

        Thanks for the reply.

The instructions state that the C100 plug is located on the right inner fender. Well, on the 1993 3.4L V6 it is not there. So, my question is, where is it?

I am now thinking that it is under or behind the PCM, but until I move the PCM out of the way I will not know for sure. I was just hoping that another 3.4L owner would be able to tell me exactly where to find the C100 plug.

          Ok,

I think I found it. It looks like it used to be clipped to the side of the PCM bracket but it had popped off and fallen down a bit. I will not receive my SLP switch until Monday, but at least I think I have found where it plugs in.

On a 3.4L, where do I plug in the SLP harness? I know on the 3.8L it is on the right inner fender, but where is it on the 3.4? Does it plug into the back of the fan motor itself?

            Thanks in advance...
It just plugs into the harness near the pcm on the passenger fender. It takes about an hour or so. I put my switch in the ashtray. Hopefully the pics I took will answer some ?'s and give ya an idea...these were the best I could do in the dark...lol.The first one is the ashtray switch, the 2nd and 3rd are of the harness and the pcm. I put the ground wire on the grounding stud next to the red junction box on the passenger fender.

No problem...if I remember correctly there shouldnt be a way of getting it wrong. I wanna say it'll only fit that harness and will only go in one way. If you wanna put the switch in the same place I did....go to your local hobby shop, get some sheet plastic about the thickness of a dime, cut to fit. The paint is also model paint in a spray can, I think the color is magnesium. Its almost a 100% match to the grey console color. The "on" and "off" labels are just dry rub on transfers which I put on then cleared over.

That looks like a great place that you mounted the switch.

I was looking at it in my car, and I am thinking to mount it right below the cigarette lighter socket. It seems like there will be enough room and it is easy enough to access it from the back in order to tighten the switch.

I guess I will figure it out for sure after the switch arrives and I can actually see what it will look like.

The switch arrived today and it is installed.

It was really simple. I removed the PCM and routed the wire through the grommet behind the PCM. I mounted the switch right below the cigarette lighter and it looks great there.

It works perfectly and was a very simple install.

I will post some pics if anyone is interested, it was too dark to take any tonight.

Total install time was about 1.5 hours, taking my time and hiding all of the wires really well.

                        I forgot one more part.

I read somewhere that if you leave the switch on and shut off the car that the fan will continue to run. That is not the case with the 3.4L.

When I turn off the key, the fan shuts down as well.

                          Update, what a great product.

Living in Miami you basically use A/C in the car during the middle of the day because the sun is so hot. As you know with the A/C on the fan is running.

Being winter time, it now cools off at night and early in the morning.

It is so nice to take a drive at night with the windows down (A/C off) and enjoy the cool air. That is where the fan switch comes in. When I am in slow traffic I turn it on and the engine stays right at 165 to 170 (160 stat). On the open road at speed I shut the fan switch off and the temp still remains at 165 to 170.

                          Great Product...

Never got around to it until now...

Mounted it right under the lighter outlet.

would it be possible for you to take pics of the wire part of the install inside the engine bay?
