I've heard you can take the casing off the Sylvania headlamps for Firebirds and put another, stronger bulb in its replacement. Has anyone done this? I did some searching and saw someone had lightly mentioned that you can pry off and then apply sealant..... anyone tried it?

I had a buddy that bought a kit for his 96 bird. It was just a stock bulb gutted to accept replacable bulb. The write up should work on your bird. I think the lens was a clear lens instead of ribbed but it is an easy DIY.
