battery relocate

ok so i watch a little to much tv, but i noticed on horsepower most cars they show with a rear mounted battery are boxed in except on more raceish cars. and by battery i mean an optima. then on musclecar i have noticed just mounting the optima and thats it. if i get the car im looking at most definitly the yellowtop i have in my garage is going in the trunk. i could easily just run the wire for it. if i ever decide to take it to the track for a tune night or maybe a bracket race would i get tossed? 1-200 for a trunk kit vs $15 for some wire is a big differance right now

im not looking at doing it for building a racecar. just want to get some weight over the tires since for my second job im required to drive fast and handle well till i get to my big red truck

RULES (INSTALLATION)
"Batteries installed in the trunk or passenger compartment of the vehicle,
regardless of type, must be contained in a sealed chamber with adequate ventilation (minimum 1/4” diameter tube) to the
exterior of the vehicle to prevent possible hydrogen gas build up during recharge conditions (batteries that have been
upgraded or have had the cables upgraded must comply with this rule). Modifications made to factory battery locations may
require additional mounting other than the factory mounting.
NOTE: All batteries that are in a sealed chamber must have photographic evidence of venting"
