I was thinking about purchasing a Viper Remote Starter and Alarm System (not sure which one yet), but I want to know if I will need any additional parts to install this in my 2000 Camaro V6?

The kit should have everything you need. If you have a manual then you'll have to rig up the clutch bypass for the remote start.

If youve never installed an alarm before I wouldnt recommend it unless you have an electrical background.

There may be a few things youll need like mercury switch... electrical tape, wire strippers and crimpers, wire connectors, drill bit, self tapping screws etc..

Buy one from best buy and then pay the $60 or so to have it installed.

Incorrect, sometimes they throw in a free install as a promo, but not always.
