  • Installed Clear Markers (Pics)

I installed some clear markers on my 93 firebird. took all of 10 minutes. I used some l.e.d. 's from ebay so the bulb is clear when off and red when on.

    what do you think?

Cant see them, but they go well with my clear corners imo.

i actually have the battery disconnected right now, but when i connect it i'll let you know how they look! One was a little loose goin in but they're in there. For 2 bux you cant go wrong with the leds though, the red bulbs they send with the markers are red and very big. these led's are small and look great imo. thanx for the idea for them btw shlotzky!

fair enough, i don't like the old ones cuz they are a dark red color that doesn't go well imo, plus you gotta remember i have clear corners, so there is kind of a theme goin.

No problem. Keep in mind LEDs are essentially diodes, and only allow current to flow one way, so if either/both LEDs don't light up when you hook the battery back up, you will need to flip them around in the socket.

you guys w/ red cars are lucky, you don't need clear corners or even nightshade the tails.

LED'S = good choice. The "red" bulbs that came with my clears, illuminated pink. I kid you not, my wife busted out laughing when I showed her. I just put white bulbs in them bad boys. My now defunct Camaro is black, the clears front and rear went well with it.

nice. Btw i hooked up the batt. like forever ago, and both led's worked so i'm guessing i installed them correctly.
