keep burning out my fog light

my drivers side foglight keeps burning out.. passenger side is fine.. where can i start?

it kinda sucks, because it seems i have to replace it once a month...

is there any water getting in the fog light housing? water can cause them to burn out quickly. that or touching the bulb with your bare hands, the natural oils in your skin can cause them to burn out as well.

Wiring short? Put a multimeter on both sides and see if the d/s has a higher draw. Might be as simple as regrounding it.

make sure there isn't any melted bulb inside the housing or whatever. mine used to blow every week till i looked at that.

camarojeff is right you must not touch the bulb with your hands and keep it away from water.
