i was looking through my glove compartment today and i noticed a little on/off toggle switch. i flipped it on and off a few times and couldn't figure out what it goes to :/ any ideas? looks like the green & black wire behind the glove compartment was spliced into for the switch to run off. anyone else have one of these? if so what is it? idk maybe it's an airbag toggle switch or something.

Probably a previous owner had an accessory running off of that.
Could have been sub on/off , neon lights, Fm Modulator etc...
remove the switch and see if there are wires hooked up, if there are, try to follow them and see where they lead.*Matt

odviously it is the switch that turns on the flex capasiter. you input the time and date you want to go to into the radio and axelerate to 80 mph.Comment

My friend had a switch in his truck that killed the odometer so it wouldn't take on miles as he drove. It also killed his speedo though. He had a pioneer flip out touch screen that he hooked up so he still could tell how fast he was going. could be if you have an alarm system a toggle switch for on/off...more for when you use valet parking...I never use mine
