    doesn't matter...they're all identical.

I bought mine from Advanced Auto Parts. Lifetim.e warranty and they were like $25 a piece.

All identical as said. Follow the tutorial to replace it, there is a link on here somewhere. Just search window motor replacement. I changed mine and it was rather easy if you follow the steps. :burn:

Yeah, just make sure you get one with a lifetime warrenty.. I've already replaced my driver motor twice in the 20 months I've had the car.

It seems like the darker the exterior paint is, the more problems the window motors have.

                          Re: window motor

WOW I was very amazed. A little after seeing this post about power windows, my drivers started to cause me issues, for a second time. I bought the replacement back in 06 off an Ebay dealer, and now I was starting to wonder if they'd up hold the "Lifetime Warrenty". I emailed them, and they were like sorry for the issues, we'll send one out in 1 to 2 days. Today has been 4 days since I emailed them and I got it from Calf. to PA! Cost nothing to me! I thought they'd be like "send us the failed unit and we'll send one back leaving me with an open window on my daily driver... but they told me to return nothing! I totally recommend Am-autoparts.com for power window motors. Just my two cents.

^^^ Wow. That IS impressive. And the link to replace dying power window motors is in the Modifications Encyclopedia, I think.... if that link still works.

                              Re: window motor

If you replace the motor, replace the regulator too. I replaced my motors twice (20K miles apart) before I replace the whole assembly. Since I replaced the assembly (on a mechanic friends recommendation), I've had no problems whatsoever for the last 50K miles. If you look at your regulator closely the spring is probably rusted.
