I Got a new battery today and after I changed it now the alarm doesnt work, Ideas as to why?
EDIT: Guess I should mention what it is doing...
1. The remote works as far as locking/unlocking the doors, horn, trunk etc.
2. The alarm doesnt sound when I lock the car and none of the lights flash as they should.
Have you gone though the whole setup in your car that sets how you want the horn / lights / locks to function? Maybe scrolling though that will jog something back into place.
What he said... there's a series of steps you can do to program how you want your car to function. It controls when the horn beeps, if the lights flash, etc.
Yes, I can honk the horn VIA the steering wheel or the panic button.
I tried what mjbrusnm and bonemaro told me but my key switch is bad and I cant get it to work on ACC so If its not somthing else I cant fix it till my ignition switch is fixed.
