would anyone happen to klnow what a good set of fog lights or running lights would be for a 97 firebird? and what is the best place to run the wires?

Did you have the factory ones at one point? It's a lot easier to replace them than completely wire up new ones. As for the replacements, it's personal choice.

Fog lights: not as powerful, wider beam, usually attached to low-beams
Driving lights: powerful, narrow beam, usually attached to high beams (might get you pulled over/ticketed for them if you attach them to low beams)

There are several write-ups (search for those) on how to mount aftermarket fog lights.

no, it didnt come with them from the factory, but the kid we bought it off of had a pair on, but looked stupid cause they didnt fit right and plus he had the wiring wrapped around the sway bar, so i tore those out as soon as possible

I was trying to find a pair that was split, having the fog lights and driving lights by the flip of a switch

The split ones look ugly, go for the fogs. I haven't found a brand that I like the look of yet, so I'm trying to find a set someone is willing to part with. :D

I also found a cheap pair of fog lights at walmart that sorta look like the oem rectangle ones on the camaros that didnt look bad
