as the title says, one of my brake lights does not work when my parking lights/headlights are on. both of them illuminate perfectly fine without the parking or headlights on. ive tried sanding the ground and i even put a little dielectric grease on it. (the ground by the hatch mechanism)
any suggestions?
for reference... its the passenger side brake light that works when the parking lights are on... and it gets REALLY bright, while the others get more dim.
No, they don't fit. You can get it from the dealer, or a junk yard. I bought a bunch of them from a junk yard and now I have spares for when the next one shorts out.
This is a pre 98 problem right? Cause I've had an 02 camaro for several years.. my brother had a 99fb and my other bro had a 98 camaro and sockets were never an issue.
Btw, to the OP.. just for ****s and giggles if you haven't tried it already.. try switching the bulbs around. It wouldn't hurt and it's free. The one that's lighting up could be a freak bulb.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
