  • Window motor Fix?

So both windows of my 97 bird are pretty well slow as can possibly be....i have just put up with them because they still do go up and down...not sure if the motors are just getting old or what. but i found this window fix kit and i was wondering if anybody had used it or heard anything about it.....looks good...also wondering if it might work for the drivers side too. thanks.

From what I hear the kit works good. I'll be ordering one this summer. I think they sell a seperate one now for the drivers side you'd have to check their webpage.

I've already replaced my motor, and its already began to slow down. Like it says on autotrix' site, this kit directly wires the window switch to the battery. The factory setup is linked through the drivers side window which is why it goes especially slow when your rolling up both windows at the same time. After looking at the videos on their site, I'd say its worth it.

I wouldn't waste my money.. $30 for something I could make with $10.

I bought the kit and installed it. Replaced the passenger window motor as well. Seems to go way faster now.

Yeah...well does anybody know how to make their own? I am all about doing my own wiring if at all possible.
