Have any of you guys ever had to go fishin' for the switch out of the dash?? Haha, Well I tried to get mine out of the dash tonight because it was ..... knocked in there I guess. I tried using a screw driver but it didn't work.
Anyone have any "special tools to get it out with? I thought about using a metal clothes hanger and making two little hooks out of the botom
Take the panel under the steering wheel out. (two screws [phillips] and two bolts [7mm]) Then there are a couple 7mm bolts on the front and one on the side of the piece that goes over the gages and houses the headlight and hvac controls. Then just go at it from behind.
To get that piece totally out, there are two more 7mm bolts under the dash pad, but from experience, I would see if you can fix it without taking off the dashpad because I ended up cracking mine in several places. I covered it in vinyl though and it looks good, but that's off topic.

Its not really off topic if you're savive me from gettin a cracked dash pad in the process. I completely forgot about taking it apart, my dad mentioned it to me while I was out there but it was dark. I thought about taking like I said some "hooks" and pulling it through that way. The clips are broke on it though .... so I hope they're replaceable
If all the pieces are there, superglue can do wonders. I've superglued 3 of the 4 clips on my window/lock switch plates. because they keep breaking. I've yet to have a problem with a previously glued one.
Is it just the fog light switch? I don't see how getting a hook in there is going to fix it. It may get it to where you can reach it and flip it, but taking it apart is the only way to actually fix it.

The switch is well slid back into the bash so I'm just trying to pull it out, its wired up because tonight while fishin' for it I saw it come on and all, but the lights don't work.
Just want to say thanks for helpin me out with the switch, got it out okay  I think it works i just dont think my fog lights are wired to it or to anything for that matter :(
Ohh should there be a pin in the back gone? Let me take a pic and i'll show ya if you dont know what im saying
