    how do you go about removing the back tail lights on a 96 camaro?

    open the hatch. unscrew the plastic wing nuts on the back wall of the car. Done and done.

      Yeah, really one of the easiest things to do.

      Pop the hatch, move the carpeting back a bit and unscrew the wing nuts.

          also, jus so you know...each tail assembly has 2 wing nuts holding it. one is easy to spot, and the others are waaayy up under the carpet, right out toward the veery edge of the car...just reaching those took me a good 5 minutes first time i tried

              ^ not necessarily. i've had my tail lights out many a time and never taken my spare out. It depends on a few things, and it's a bit of a pain, but it's totally doable.

                i guess i have big hands, i dont take mine out i just loosen it so i can tilt it out of the way
