  • wiring up a kit so the low/high beams stay on

basically my friend bought a kit for his truck for when he hits his high beams, his low beams stay on

we tried to install it in my car, but i cant find the correct wires in the harness.. well thats a lie, i found the wires, but i need to find where they meet up and turn into one before the dash

it seems that in the trucks they meet in the wiring harness in the engine bay, but my car seems to be different

anyone know how to wire one of these kits up?

i cant recall off hand, but it uses tan and green wires *i think* they are the same as the trucks and are in the wiring schematic in the back of the haynes book

any ideas if this can be done?

all you have to do is find the "clicker" on the bottom of the steering wheel splice into the yellow and pink wires and make a connection between them, make sure that you use a thick enough gauge
