brake lights

all the brake lights on the left side of my car aren't coming on. the running light comes on but no brake lights. even the left light in my 3rd brake light wont come on. the fuse is still good, even though its a 15 instead of a 20. the lights look to be in good shape but i'm not sure. what might i be over looking?

Sounds like the bulbs are bad, or the sockets. There are only two wires going to the spoiler 3rd brake light (+ & -), then it's split into four, so if one bulb works, both are getting power unless the socket is bad.

Same thing with the left brake light. Use a tester and check for power when the brakes are applied at the connector, and if not, down the wire a tad.

yea that happened to me but with my turn signals, wouldnt flash or come on, replace one bulb and now they both work perfectly :)

it was the bulb. now i gotta get a replacement for the 3rd brake light bulb. anyone know what the number is?

also a little side note- i had to brake the bulb to get it out of the lens (the 3rd bl). should i have had to do that?

idk the #, just got to autozone and ask them...as for your other question i didnt have to break the bulb just was a little hard to pull out but it did come out without breaking it.

Spoiler light is a 921.
