Sounds like you're reading the 3.8 fan switch instructions. Here's the 3.4's:

    http://forum.camarov6.com/showthread...3.4+fan+switch

Since you only have one fan, it's somewhat different. Same concept, except just one wire instead.

Attach them inside the car to a 2 prong.
One for the power of the green wire, and one for the ground.

switch. just a standard on/off switch. you don't have a hi and lo fan, so no need for a SPDT switch (2 ons, 1 off).

put the fuse on the "hot side", or the side that will be supplying the current. You can check if it's hot or not by hooking up a voltmeter to the wire and a ground. If there's a current then it's hot. As for the switch, you can use it. put the ground in the middle prong, and the hot wire on either the top or bottom prong. This set-up, only moving the switch to the one side will turn on the fan; center and the other side won't do anything. You could also bridge the hot wire from the very top to the very bottom prong, with the ground still in the middle. This way, either way you flip the switch it will turn on the fan, leaving center as off.
