White face overlay gauges install, need help

Ok here is what ive done so far.

Taken all the screws out
Taken the plastic off
pulled the speedometer out
taken plastic off
put overlay on
CORRECTLY fixed needles
put cover back on gauges.
pluged the first resister thingy on the color/power supply to the one on the bottom of the gauges.
plugged up ground to a ground wire.
ran power to a power source.

cut lights on and NOTHING!

where am i messing up?

did you test. Your power and ground sources? My gauges are tapped in to the headlight switch. Could you explain better where its hooked in to? Also, moving to electrical.

I got ground ran to the ground coming off the radio and the power ran to the same power as the radio.

anyway you could get on aim?

FOUND THE PROBLEM!

the little thing that connects the wire from the gauges to the copper on the gauges is ripped in half.

its NOT going to work

i plugged up the spare set of z28 155 speedo overlays and guess what they worked.

so they were broke when i got em.

haha, i didnt install the Z28 speedo, i was just testing to make sure im not crazy. The Z28 one works. But the V6 one doesnt. Then i found a tear in part of the V6 Speedo.

ahh, okay. Sorry I was still on vacation.

Hopefully the company has a good return policy!

I bought it from Kockymaro. He said he would file a claim to fedex, But dont know how long that will take or if anything will get done. So as of now im out 25 dollars. :(
