Has anyone tried BWD wiresets? I guess the brand is Borg Warner ( don't they make the T-5's)

Haven't heard of them. But yes, Borg Warner makes transmissions (like the T5), among other things.

It seems like a reputable enough brand. I'd like some MSD or Taylor wires, but don't really want to spend $50-$60 unless anyone knows of a good place with cheap shipping. :naughty:

        Re: BWD spark plug wires

I just got some Taylor wires last week. Got them for $55 shipped, although they bumped it up to 2nd day shipping for free. But you could also check out a few other places like Thunder Racing.

Guess I forgot that part. I got the Spiro Pro wires from Summit.

can you use the stock heat shields on those boots because I've been looking at pics. of the Spiro Pros and the boots look a little funky.

                Re: BWD spark plug wires

I would think they'd fit. I changed plugs and wires during a header install this weekend but only had 3 boot shields for some reason. I didn't put them back in with the new wires. So far I haven't noticed any negative effects without them.

Since the wires had 90* boots on both ends, I used the normal black boot for the spark plugs and put the ones with the Taylor logo on the coil pack.
