I'm pretty sure it's just a resistor, right? I know someone who wants $10 for one and figured I might as well since I've got a decent system.

dont do it rad, it pretty much gives your pcm a false reading, saying that your alternator isn't putting out enough amps forcing it to up production or something along those lines, which is not beneficial to your charging system.

I got a stage 1 and it did nothing , so ZZP referred me to the manuft. who said you won't see any results at idle , only when moving at at certain RPM, so basicly crap. Because I had a voltmeter on it up to 5900 rpms and didn't see anything.
