those little light bulbs (LEDS?) like the one that light up the P N R D on the gear shift? idk how to get it out and im afraid to break it.

pull the shift knob off, theres a retainer clip on the backside near the bittom, lift your console lid and unscreew the two screws play with the shifter tull you get it in a good position so you can pull the section of console out its just a one little light it twist on of the console peice

i know where the light is and i have the socket out but i cant get the bulb out of the socket. i guess im just not pulling hard enough.

pull really hard. I just replaced mine about a week ago I had the same prob. I thought it was a twist off but it's not. Just a direct pull. Make sure your fingers aren't greasy lol

it's not an LED fyi. just a little bulb. They can be a bugger to get out, but it's just a push in, so just pull harder... Just don't try any type of pliers or anything because then you'll have a real mess...lol
