Ok, I bought a remote start kit and have been planning to put it in for a while now. The only thing stopping me was that I thought I needed a relay to kick the factory alarm off. Turns out I either got a model with out one, or it was completely taken out because I've tried to get it to go off and it never does. So I was wondering if anyone else has done this because so far i've gotten no where, the wires that the page i printed from the manufacturer point to, don't seem to be there, all i see are a couple of ribbon wires, neither of which seem to have the color of wires needed by the start mechanisim. The only wire i thought i did find turned out to be the srs conduit with 2 small wires inside. I'm completely lost and can't find my haynes manual.
