alarm not working right

I have a 2000 camaro and everytime I lock the doors with my keyless entry the alarm goes off about 15 seconds after I lock it. Does anyone know what the problem is and how I can fix it?

I had this happen, on my 97 a while back.. Exact same problem... let me know some things as I ask..

I cant really remember how I got it to work...
do your lamps turn on when you open the door or pull the key out of the ignition?

Is your battery ok
battery ok in the remote
is it the same amount of time all the time (15 seconds no change)

your alarm transmitter has gone bad.
Replace it

mine did it actually got went took it apart cleaned it out and put it back together that was 2 years ago

water getting into them was a major issue

mine is incased in silicone now in a ziplock baggie lol
